8std INTERNAL ASSESSMENT-PPT
Divide the class into groups of 6 (6x8=48) students each.(THAT MEANS THERE WILL BE 6 STUDENTS IN EACH GROUP, and in total there will be 8 GROUPS.)
Each student group will be conducting a research based on the any one of the
following topics:
1. Classroom of the Future
2. Technology v/s Environment
Ask students to research using internet and library for the given topics
Ask students to supplement the information with their own experiences and prepare a
Power Point Presentation (PPT) for the class.
Guidelines
Each student of the group will participate in presenting the PowerPoint.
 The presentation should have a minimum of 6 slides and each member should
present one slide.
The group members may add videos, video coverage of the interview, pictures
and clip arts to make the presentation more engaging (STRICTLY 2 MINS).
The teacher should announce IA – PPT at least two weeks in advance so that
the students can prepare accordingly.

Points to be kept in mind when developing a project on the topic ‘Classroom of the future’:
1. What does the future of learning hold?
2. What will classrooms of the future be like?
3. What are the new emerging technologies such as cloud
computing augmented reality (AR), Artificial intelligence and 3D

5. What these promising technologies and predict how schools will adopt
them in time to come.
Points to be kept in mind when developing the project on ‘Technology V/s Environment’:
1. Humans keep creating objects that are harmful to the environment,
and they call this “technology.” Is it correct?
2. How can a person stay physically fit and healthy when he/she does
nothing himself/herself?
3. People are at great risk to their health with the advancements in
technology
4. Is technology really making life relaxing?

THE LOST WORLD (chapter 9 and 10)

 ( he got excited when he saw Assai palm trees as it was a landmark for him)

(There was thick vegetation, natural tunnel, through the tunnel of greenery flowed a marvellous river.

Today it was an eventful day. It seems the real adventure has finally begun in The Lost
World. First the members of the team were attacked by the giant creatures and few of
us were physically harmed. Then I took this brave decision to go up the giant ginkgo. I
came face to face with ape-man. In the end I was successful in elaborating the first

world of The Lost World. So This day can be earmarked in my chronicles of reports. - Melone
